Junior Accountant
King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:
(Junior Accountant)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives vendor’s invoices, Ensure that the vendor’s invoices have been properly approved by authorized people, and matches vendors' invoices with receipt voucher, entry voucher and purchase order, check both quantity and amount to ensure that items were received properly with their related documents (PO, RV .)
Checks calculations accuracy for all manual vendors' invoices.
Posting vendors' invoices to the system.
Preparing monthly and required payments after matching overdue balances with attached invoices and computes the amounts due.
Reconciles Accounts Payables on monthly basis and identify discrepancies.
Assist in monthly and yearly physical inventory count.
Serve as back-up for other accountants as needed.
Performing any related task as requested by the direct supervisor.
Education & Professional Experience requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Good grade and above
2 years of experience is required.
Good command of oral and written English.
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
