Job description

As a Technical Support Assistant at AHSF, you will be responsible on the following main tasks:

• Maintain internal infrastructure requirements such as laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
• Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
• Manage Infrastructure and network administration such as On-Premise Server, VMware, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, firewall, Azure Virtual Server, Remote VPN, and site-to-site tunnel administration and troubleshooting.
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Lead desktop and helpdesk support. Ensure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are solved on time.
• Update and maintain operational documentation Infrastructure.
• Conduct research and make recommendations for new approaches to improve the network.
• Monitor network and security systems and security changes in line with the change control process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or any related field.

• 1-2 years of network administration and system administration experience.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security and storage.
• If you have system administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields is a plus.
